The Temple of Kom Ombo, Egypt
Kom Ombo was originally called Nubt (City of Gold). The town was 50km north of Aswan which was the important routes for traders from Nubia to the Nile Valley. During the reign of Ptolemy VI Philometor (180-145BC), it became a training depot for African war elephants.
