Luxor Temple, Luxor

Luxor Temple is an Ancient Egyptian Temple is located in the city of Luxor and not far from the Nile river. This thousand years temple is also known as Ipet resyt (meaning: The Southern Harem). This temple was dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Chons. The purpose of Temple of Luxor is to be the center for the rituals of the festival  like the Opet Festival. This temple was built by the Amenhotep III and Ramesses II.
